INTRODUCTION
Welcome to new and current residents of Bishops Knoll.
Bishops Knoll is exclusively residential and made up of Woodland Court, Bishops Court and Orchard Court containing 56 flats. The flats are all single-family dwellings. The majority are owner occupier, and the remainder are rented out to tenants. Bishops Knoll is owned by the Bishops Knoll Management Company whose directors are all resident flat owners. The Company owns the roadways, grassed areas, trees, shrubs, borders, flower beds, communal interior areas and exterior of the buildings (“the Property”). As a flat owner you have a share in the company. Any works to the Property are undertaken with the approval of the Management Company to ensure the benefit of all the flat owners. Therefore, works such as attaching aerials, wires/cabling, poles, or other devices, notices, fitting or fixture of any type, changes to windows or exterior doors, changes to any landscaping/gardening and decorating of any external areas can only be undertaken with the consent of the Management Company.
If there are any areas of the Property that require repair please make a request to the Management Company who are able to assist. If your flat has been damaged and you believe this is as a result an external issue such as another flat owner, please notify the Management Company immediately to discuss how to rectify the issue or claim on insurance.
