CARS/GARAGES/CAR PORTS/EV CHARGING
1) Every flat is provided with a garage or a carport. These should be used whenever possible for their intended purpose. No items should be stored in the car ports. When a flat is leased to a tenant the garage or carport must be included in the lease.
2) Garages should not be used for any activity apart from occasional D.I.Y.
3) The electricity supply in these facilities is provided by the Estate and should not be abused. Fridges, freezers, tumble driers and like fixed electrical equipment should not be operated from the garages. Only portable electrical equipment being used for short term project work can be used from the garage electrical supply.
4) Parking spaces are provided on the Estate for the use of residents, visitors and contractors. These spaces are for short-term parking only. Overnight parking is for visitors and resident’s second vehicles if necessary. Permanent or long-term parking for non-residents is not permitted.
5) For safety reasons, motorists are asked not to park vehicles in locations where ‘No Parking’ notices are displayed.
6) For the convenience of the less mobile of our residents, consideration should be given to leaving the more accessible spaces free, i.e. those adjacent to footpaths.
7) Vehicles may stop in the roadways for the loading/unloading of goods or for setting-down/ picking- up of passengers only and should not be left there for lengthy periods.
8) For safety reasons cars must not be driven at more than 5 mph within the Estate.
9) There are EV charging points available for resident’s use and full instructions for accessing the chargers is available on our website.
